NEWS Sept 18-09-09 Large Sonix Gasser due out soon.

Sonix have announced a large Gasser for production in October 2009 and Sportsmoto Ltd will be supplying this Larger Petrol Engine powered helicopter to our customers.

Swinging either 690 or 790 mm main blades and 2 hour flight duration this will be ideal for UV use or specialist industrial helicopter users.

Sonix HC 500 Now Available Fantastic Changes to this 500 Helicopter Design 03-07-09

Another big step up in quality, performance from the awesome HDX450SE, the HC500 kit represents another hottest heli on the market with some CNC aluminum and fiber composite parts. This new 500-size heli is not as big as a T-REX 600 but just a bit bigger than a T-REX 450. Using 6S1P batteries that are widely used on T-REX 500 and 425mm blades, this is the ideal size for everyone who wants to have another kit besides the T-REX 450SE without spending tons of money on battery for T-REX 600. The quality and craftmanship is SUPERB!

This HC500 is an almost complete redesigned helicopter from HDX500SE by Charley Stephens and being intensively tested by world top 3D pilot Henry Caldwell. After months of testing and revising, the HC500 helicopter kit is finally at its optimized hard core 3D condition. Henry Caldwell said "This is the new HC 500. Charley Stephens reworked the hdx 500. I did all the testing for the improved heli. We decided to call it the HC 500, since I devoted alot of my time and feedback to the project. Inverted Hover Tool !! May 2009

Currently made to order but will soon be in production a 450 size (3dx450 -t rex 450) inverted flight hover tool. Must be used with training undercarriage for safety, this device can help you get started in 3D flight. Only to be used for hover practise but can get you acquainted with nose in hovers inverted ! With lower crash risks.

NEW GT Power Servo & ESC Tester

In three modes to check Servos or ESC:

Manual mode – Turn the knob will different speed. Check the reaction time.
Neutral mode – Make the servo go back to the neutral point.
Automatic “window wiper” mode-make the servo swing like window wipers in the biggest angle.

It can connect 1 – 3 servos simultaneously and test such as 1- 3 servos consistency and so on.
It can also connect 1 – 3 ESC to test and compare their reaction time respectively.
It can connect 3 servos of the CCPM helicopters and select servos.
It can also connect the servo of airplanes install the steering-box and adjust planes by using such as the neutral mode and so on.

Gaui 200 V2 This is a superb bit of kit

Well i dont often get blown away with Helicopter stuff anymore , but i must say that the NEW gaui 200 SE V2 is a stunner right out the box. The QC is stunning and i mean stunning all of the bits that have to be fitted by you are top quality. Just watch you dont lose any parts as some of the screws are very small !

Over all I am impressed with the heli, Its stable in a hover and is also an ultra capable 3d machine. So far the 3 axis gyro system is awsome, the tail is solid and the hover is more stable than my old 400. One thing i forgot to do was pull off the grips an redo the factory loctite job on the grip bolts before I flew it, so on the second pack it chucked a grip, but nothing was lost or damaged so with a little loc-tite and a couple of twists of the wrench she was up and away again. One thing I origionally overlooked was to set up the servos directions and enpoints BEFORE installing the gyro, so my first few attempts at flying it was nothing more than it constantly listing right on the ground or having no cyclic control once its was airborne, but after I did the correct set up its been smooth sailing from there. The heli is also quite durable, I found this out during my initial attempts at flying before I corrected the set up, I must have bounced it off of walls and the floor about six times and nothing but a set of landing gear broke and a grip bolt bent. This heli is also very light, all up w/batt it is a full 2oz. lighter than the T-rex 250, which, in a heli this size and weight ( 9.8 oz all up ) is a huge difference. This is a great heli for anyone looking to get into the 200-250 class, and with that my batts done chargin' Im gonna go fly!
