Model Helicopters | Electrics | Gyros & V Bar Stabi for Helicopters | Standard Gyro
The ACER-LAB G1000 Gryo features AVCS functionality. It results in an accurate headlocking system to counter enviromental effects on your helicopters flight. The ACER-LAB Gyro is specifically designed for application on Remote Controlled Helicopters. It features both a rate and AVCS mode. The ACER-LABs AVCS system delivers outstanding stability. As the rudder is affected by cross winds the altitutde changes are automatically counteracted and rudder operation is stabalized - ensuring easier 3D flight.
Outstanding Value and peformance of this popular size Gyro out in the market place. This is a great Gyro for 400,450,500 , 550 and even 600 size machines. We recently fitted 01-01-09 this gyro to our T Rex 600 and it performs very well in flight.Rave reviews about our G401B gyro check this video out http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=956825 16-02-09

FY-20A Flight Stabilization System lots of uses for this deviceI think the FY-20A might already be useful in driving a tilt servo on a camera as well as stabilize pitch on a multi copter at the same time. Today I hooked my FY-20A up to my planes' FPV pan/tilt camera and the tilt aspect worked ok, although a bit twitchy. I think the FY-20A could pull dual duty as a camera tilt stabilizer on a tri, quad or hexa copter. You'd simply split off the elevator output into a servo rate reducer (to dampen jitter) and use a good quality programmable digital servo like the HS-5055MG (to let you independently adjust expo, reversing, centering, etc). The same holds true of the aileron output of the FY-20A, but it stabilizes roll which is often confused with yaw in camera stabilization. In the case of a standard pan/tilt camera; yaw is the axis associated with panning. The rudder (or yaw) output on the FY-20A is rate (not position) based so it couldn't be used to hold position on a pan servo, but at least could smooth out fast yaw motion along with a rate reducer.
